This Multifunction 5-in-1 Stud Scanner measures distance and makes wall scanning fast and simple. Results are shown on its 2 inches LCD (50.8mm) display. It has a back-light to help you see what's behind the wall even in dark areas. In addition, this scanner has a Class 2 laser tool conforming to the EN 60825-1: 1994+A1: 2002+A2: 2001 safety rule.

Distance Measurement: Measures object's distance within 16m (2~53in) effectively. It has ultrasonic sensor aperture, Temperature display (°C/°F) and memory, which can perform Area and Volume calculation. A Level Bubble is positioned conveniently to help you bring your work to a whole new level.

Stud detection: It has advanced optoelectronic technology it can detect the position ofJoists, AC Live Wires and Metals on wood wall only . It will calibrate automatically after turning on. Once approaching the edges of joists, AC live wires or metals, the scanner will sound and you can mark the central position of the detected surface through the marker slot on top of the tool with pencil. The function of alarming for AC live wires will alert you of noticing whether there are AC live wires behind the wall no matter the functional switch is set on wood or metal mode.

Laser marker function: The tool can generate a visible Red Laser Line on the surface of objects to conveniently choose the desired position while constructing. Also, it has built-in pin fixation function for fixing the scanner on the wall while laser marking.
